More evidence that print advertising is losing its ground to Internet Advertising

Latest advertising activity indicators from our real estate clients show that many real estate organizations which have normally been advertising via traditional hard copy media (newspapers, magazines, flyers, etc.) are cutting their print budgets by a whopping average of 30 percent and increasing their online spending by 26 percent.

As do most of the industry leaders, we project online advertising to grow approximately 15 percent in 2008. This figure does not reflect activity in real estate, however, where we expect to see a decline in activity due to current real estate market conditions. Overall, within the next 5 years, we will see a dramatic shift of almost 70 percent in the allocation of real estate advertising dollars from print to web.
