Project Manager

Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for the hands-on management of various IT user-specific projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that all budget and timelines are met by creating project plans, schedules and project teams to meet the deliverables; as well as a management liaison resource between the Attention Intereactive, its clients and its developers.

Qualifications:

• Facilitates gathering and refinement of requirements for technology related projects.
• Manages implementation and completion of project life cycles including:
  - conducting project meetings
  - scheduling additional IT resources
  - managing cross-functional project team deliverables
  - maintaining and communicating project documentation, schedule, and budget
  - holding post mortem at each project's close
• Act as back-up to Quality Assurance Project Manager - document weekly agendas / follow up on task lists.

Skills & Requirements:

• Superior project management skills and experience with project management software (Microsoft Project or equivalent).
• Thorough understanding of software development life cycle including quality assurance, project scope & analysis, data validations, systems integration and report writing tools.
• Experience with the following programming languages and technologies:
  - PHP (or any other web scripting languages)
  - HTML
  - SQL
  - Web Services
• Strong customer service skills and prior experience supporting internal customers.
• Ability to understand and convert business requirements into technical specifications and effectively communicate technology issues with non-technology staff.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral) with strong documentation skills.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time-management and the ability to prioritize/reprioritize projects.
• Excellent follow-through skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience working with Membership/Association management systems desirable.

Education:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Project Management Certification is a plus, MBA is a plus.
